Why Strength Training Is the Best Anti-Aging Tool
Lifting weights protects your muscles, bones, metabolism and independence.
After age 30, we gradually lose muscle mass unless we actively work to maintain it. Strength training is the most effective way to slow and even reverse that decline.
Two to three short sessions per week covering the major movement patterns — squat, hinge, push, pull and carry — are enough to see meaningful results.
Strength work also supports bone density, which is especially important during perimenopause and menopause.
Start light, focus on good form, and progress slowly. Our Strength Library includes beginner modifications for every exercise.
